Politics on the Rocks

Since 2009, Citizen Outreach has hosted an informal meet-and-greet “happy hour” event that serves as a welcoming space for like-minded conservatives and libertarians to connect, share ideas, and build community.

This relaxed atmosphere allows attendees to network freely, sidestepping the usual formalities and tensions that often accompany traditional political party meetings.

These events provide a platform for individuals to discuss shared values, strategies, and visions for the future, fostering a sense of camaraderie among participants.

Recognizing the importance of dialogue and collaboration in driving change, Citizen Outreach has also invited prominent figures to engage with attendees. They include…

Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Sen. Rand Paul, “Cliff Clavin” from Cheers, Gov. George Pataki,  Herman Cain, Reps. John Shadegg, J.D. Hayworth and Tom Tancredo

Taxpayer champion Grover Norquist, the Hollywood producers of “Atlas Shrugged, conservative talk-show hosts Roger Hedgecock and Rusty Humphries

Notable Nevada speakers, such as Congressman Mark Amodei, Governor Joe Lombardo, Oscar Goodman, Dean Heller, Kenny Guinn and Joe Heck.

Their presence not only enriches the conversations but also demonstrates the organization’s commitment to connecting grassroots advocates with their elected representatives.

By creating a friendly and inclusive environment, these happy hour events have become a cornerstone for political engagement in Nevada, allowing conservatives and libertarians to forge meaningful connections, amplify their voices, and work together toward shared goals in promoting fiscal responsibility and principled governance.

Through these interactions, Citizen Outreach continues to strengthen its role as a key player in the state’s political landscape, inspiring individuals to become more active and informed citizens.
