Post-COVID Carnival Cruise to the Mexican Riviera…

by Chuck Muth, President, Citizen Oureach

This is going to be our BEST conserva-cruise EVER!

First of all, we’ll be sailing on a BRAND NEW SHIP – the Panorama.

The Panorama was voted as “the most anticipated new cruise ship for 2019 in the fifth annual Cruise Hive Cruise Ship Awards” and “won by a huge difference and was up against seven other cruise ships from five different cruise lines.”

From Gene Sloan of USA Today…

“The big news with Carnival Panorama is that it’ll be based in Long Beach, California, becoming the first new Carnival ship stationed on the West Coast in two decades. The vessel will sail weekly voyages to the Mexican Riviera.

“Such a deployment for a new ship is rare for any line, and a boon for West Coast cruisers who often have to settle for older vessels in their home ports. Cruise lines traditionally base their newest ships in the big cruise hubs of the East Coast including Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.”

“In addition, Panorama will offer a Guy Fieri-themed smokehouse and brewpub that serves up smoked-onboard barbecue and house-made craft beer. Dubbed Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse|Brewhouse, it was just the latest food concept to come from a partnership between Carnival and the celebrity chef.”

“One of the major highlights of the upcoming ship is the first ever Sky Zone trampoline park at sea,” Cruise Hive adds.  “The new space will span two decks and include a 12-lane trampoline court.”

Oh, and this above-deck/over-the-water SKY-RIDE…

And this Rope Walk/Course…

For the less-adventurous, you’ll likely find me here during the day…

Seriously, this ship is gonna be AWESOME.  But don’t take my word for it, click here for the full run-down.

The Panorama’s debut voyage will be on December 14, 2019.  We’ll all be on her less than four months later.

Our cruise departs from Long Beach, CA on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 4:30 pm and returns on Saturday morning, April 11 – the day before Easter.

This *should* be Spring Break time for many school districts, so families with kids will be able to join us this time around without having to worry about missed classroom time.

Relax and enjoy a “Fun Day at Sea” on Sunday.  Monday in Cabo San Lucas.  Tuesday in Mazatlan.  Thursday in Puerto Vallarta.  Then kick back for two more relaxing days at sea – before returning to port in Long Beach around 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

You’ll be back home in Vegas by dinner time!

All-inclusive packages include your room, all you can eat buffet, formal dinners each night, all your beverages (not including alcohol), all your entertainment, pool, hot tubs (including an adult-only deck!), mini-golf, water slide, “dive-in” movies on the Lido Deck, ping-pong tables, soccer field, basketball court, SPA, trivia games, contests, and all the shuffleboard you can handle.

We don’t have any specific, formal scheduled meetings, but you can expect plenty of discussions on how to keep the world safe for democracy with fellow travelers – especially each night at the piano bar over the adult beverage(s) of your choice!

If you think you might like to join us, contact our cruise coordinator, Karen Weiner. Let her know that you’re with Chuck and Citizen Outreach.  She’ll take good care of you, answer all your questions and book the best package possible.

Some of the Citizen Outreach gang at Cabo Wabo Cantina on 2019 cruise

“This trip was most definitely one of the best times of my life. We did so many amazing things on this cruise and each was more memorable than the last. The highlight for me was snorkeling with friends on Catalina Island.  Thank you Citizen Outreach for making this possible!” – Lance Zink

“I just wanted to thank you for inviting us on the cruise and also Citizen Outreach for putting it all together.  It was the best vacation that I have ever had and it gave me a chance to relax and feel like a new person.  It was a great time and it was very enjoyable to be able to hang out and meet with other people.  I will definitely be on the next cruise if there is another one planned.” – Lori Voss

“As this was my first trip outside the United States mainland, the Citizen Outreach Baja cruise was a truly memorable event.  I loved the service provided by Carnival, the diversity of activities, and sources of entertainment.  And to have been able to take the trip with so many friends was the cherry on top of the wonderful experience.  Too say it was worth the money would be a criminal-like understatement.” – Ben Reed
